Richmond High School students will return to In-Person Instruction on Monday, January 30, 2023.

First and foremost, we are extremely proud of the collective resiliency that has been shown throughout the adversity currently before us. Yesterday our leadership teams were able to virtually attend several RHS classes and each virtual class was structured for success. Our RHS educators were well prepared and students responded accordingly. With that said, we are going to continue to provide all necessary resources, supports, and professional development to aide the RHS community throughout this process. Unfortunately, our most recent battery of tests regarding moisture management has revealed that RHS has yet to thoroughly dry out. As a result of these most recent findings, Return to In-Person Instruction timetables have been adjusted and we now have to consider an RHS Return to In-Person Instruction date of Monday, January 30, 2023. Each day has presented us with new data to review and reflect upon. Much of our information comes to us in real-time and does not afford us much warning. We have virtually met with the RHS faculty/staff to inform them of our possible In-Person Instruction timetable. At this time, exercising the utmost of safety, security, and due diligence is our number one goal. We will continue to provide our community with frequent updates on the matter and thank you all in advance for your time, patience, and understanding. Respectfully yours, Richmond Community Schools Administration
