About.com Gifted Children Site - This is a new site run by one of IAG's board members. It has information, ideas, and forums.
Ball State University Center for Gifted Studies and Talent Development - Its mission is to "identify, promote, and develop giftedness; conduct research for the purposes of improving programs for, and creating a better understanding of, the needs of gifted and talented individuals; provide professional development programs for all who work with gifted and talented individuals; and make information about all aspects of the gifted and talented more accessible."
Northwestern University's Center for Talent Development - Founded in 1981, the Center hosts the Midwest Talent Search, holds gifted conferences, provides Super Saturday classes and summer classes for gifted children, and much more. They say, "We have helped countless students find appropriate courses and opportunities and reach new levels in their areas of aptitude. Through conferences, publications (including the center's magazine Talent Development), and our connections with other organizations, we are able to inform families and educators about our programs and opportunities specially designed for talented learners."
