Certifications

Customer Service
The customer service cerification takes approximately 20 hours of study to prepare for a multiple-choice certification test.  When passed, the student will have credentials from the National Retail Federation to add to their resume.  All jobs involve good customer service, so this is a quick and valuable step for getting a job.  

Quickbooks
The Quickbooks certification is approximately a 30 hour training program to prepare for real-world business skills like tracking income and expenses, creating reports and more.  Having this certification on your resume is a key step in landing jobs in the area of business.

Home Health Aide
Home health aides help with the activities of their clients' daily living and provide basic routine care.  This can be with assistance in eating, bathing, brushing teeth, giving medicine, changing dressings, checking a patient's temperature and pulse rate, and helping with artificial limbs or walking aids.  This is a 75 hour program available on-.line to meet state requirements to be able to work in this feild.

Paraprofessional
Paraprofessionals are teacher's aides in classrooms.  In order to obtain a license, students must pass an exam that includes basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.  This typically involves between 20-30 hours of study.
