2-Hour Delay FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2022

RCS will operate on a 2-hour delay Friday, February 18, 2022. Buses will run two hours later than usual. There will be no morning preschool classes at Charles, Crestdale, Fairview, and Westview.

RCS 2020 Teacher of Year Receives Special Recognition and Experience

RCS 2020 Teacher of the Year and Richmond High School alumna Darcy Talbot will receive special recognition and experience during the College Football Playoff (CFP) Championship this weekend. The 2022 Indianapolis Host Committee and the CFP Foundation continue their efforts to support Indiana teachers through legacy initiatives by announcing the 18 Indiana Teachers of the Year. These 18 teachers, nominated by their peers and communities, will join 56 state teachers of the year to participate in the Teacher of the Year Championship Experience.

15th Annual Bob Wettig Memorial Basketball Tournament

The 15th Annual Bob Wettig Memorial Tournament returns to Richmond on December 28 and 29, 2021. After a 1 year COVID hiatus, the field is once again loaded with talent and several intriguing match-ups.

Tickets-

$10.00 pass is good for both locations-single day
$15.00 pass is good for entire tournament (both sites-both days)

Tickets sales will begin at both locations one hour before the first game at that site. RHS will accept cash or credit cards. Dennis will accept cash only.

RCS Announces new Test Intermediate School Principal

Superintendent Dr. Curtis Wright is proud to announce the appointment of Jamie Thomas to the position of Principal of Test Intermediate School pending board approval. Mrs. Thomas is replacing Mr. Stacy Mopps, who recently retired.
